Finding Time

Finding Time is a record of the several years between stepping away from a career and finally feeling a new direction taking hold. I call it a song cycle of creative renewal: returning home dislocated and uncertain after seven years abroad; the science I'd studied had always made sense of the world for me but something was missing and I didn't know where to look; uncertain connections with others; the constant sense of passing time.

Melodic, personal and densely lyrical, Finding Time weaves through that period and between styles, written as snapshots or stepping stones along the way, ultimately gaining a transformative new sense of purpose through acceptance and expression in music itself.

All vocals and instruments arranged, performed, mixed and produced by Robin, mostly at the 'sDoodyO' on the south coast of England.
